A traditional London style porter which used chocolate & black malts in the recipe; a good full roast aroma with hints of liquorice on the tongue and a dry bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear, reddish brown with an absent head. Aroma of hard roasted malt. Medium body, low in carbonation with hard roasted malts and vanilla accents. Light underlying acidity. Has a little malt bitterness in the finish. 031008

Bottled. An amber-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of caramel as well as light notes of soy sauce and an acidic note. The flavor is acidic with notes of roasted malt, leading to an acidic finish. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.
