Valssi on ensimmäinen oluemme ja sen resepti on tehty aikanaan yhteistyössä Rekolan Panimon kanssa. Valssi on tumman paahteinen musta lager, jossa on paljon klassista Saazer-humalaa. Valssi on erinomainen ruoka-olut ja hyvin monikäyttöinen, se sopii niin kala- kuin liha-ateriallekin. Etiketin kuvassa on Mathildedalin Ruukin Valssilaitos vuonna 1940. Valssi on kausituote.

(Keg at Ølhus København, 20141216) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts and coffee. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, light sourness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had burntness, coffee and bitterness. A stronger body would have made this beer better but with low ABV achieving such is quite tough.

A colabrown beer with a medium and light beige head. The nose has rye bread, low roastiness, some coffee, mild herbal bitterness. Taste is clearly more roasted than aroma, coffee, nice bitterness, quite dry. Almost medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Positively and good beer, rich of flavours.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 29.08.2015
Aroma has roasted tones, coffee, nuts, malt, hay and slight sour element. Flavour has nuts, some sour milky tones, coffee and hints of nuts. Also some ashy tones and mild spiciness. This could work better without the sour element; at start it is not that dominant but takes over at the end of the glass.
