A naturally brilliant blend of malt and hop characters. Solid gold colour, remarkably aromatic. smooth body with hints of fresh citrus. Dry delicate hop flower finish. A drink that is both distinctive and long on refreshment.

Dobre IPA ze Szkocji. Aromatyczne pachnace roznymi chmielami. Piana najpierw ladnie sie tworzy lecz wyksztalca sie srednia i szybko opada. Kolor zloty. Chmielny aromat tego szkockiego piwa jest dosc wyrazny, w degustacji dominuje takze chmiel oraz posmak skoszonej i zasuszonej trawy.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Fruity and flowery hoppy aroma with mildly buttery malty notes. Moderately bitter and sweet flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Balanced (cara-)malty taste with fruity (citrus, grapefruit) and floral hops; moderately dry bitter and mildly sweet malty finish with a rounded hoppy tail. Another light-weighted gem from Scotland ! 13.II.13

50 cl bottle @ Nurmo. Rated on 27.07.2009
Aroma has toffee, some English hops and hints of nuts. Flavour has English hops, toffee, some citrus and hints of nuts. Not IPA even in British scale – more like your typical bitter with one or two extra hops.

Smooth golden ale with a healthy but diminishing head. Has a malty character with with plenty of biscuit notes that make it very pleasant.

Aroma: Fresh, grassy, vegetable aroma.
Appearance: Clear golden body with a medium white head. Average carbonation. No lacing,
Taste: Distinct flavour combination of rose, freshly cut grass, light malt and boiled green vegetables. Not much hop profile, low bitterness.
Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation.
Overall: Definitely not an IPA - it’s nowhere near hoppy enough or strong enough. Very earthy flavours. Quite dull. Why it’s as popular as it is in Edinburgh, I don’t know... Usually the best on offer in a poor Scottish pub.

Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin white broken head. The aroma is strong rich, creamy and very fruity. The flavour is medium bitter, peachy and not particularly hoppy, which is strange as this is an IPA! Very drinkable but its no IPA.

getrunken 2012 in fröhlicher Runde Es ist ein einfaches IPA mit den richtigen Aromen aber ohne Eigenständigkeit. Kann man gut trinken, aber zu einem zweiten musste man nicht greifen.

A fine golden colour with a white head. Moderate citric and hoppy nose. Fruity and hoppy flavour. More carbonation and a lot fresher than the cask version. Nice hoppy bitter texture.
