Bottle at the Relentless Thirst Tasting on 08/29/2009. Cloudy orange body with a small off-white head. Big smoke and caramel aroma. Dry smoke flavor with a bit of caramel. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle at the Relentless Thirst Gathering in Richmond, VA, 8.29.09. Pours a hazy light amber with a small head. Aroma of smoke, earthy spices and earthy hops. Taste is smoke, earthy spices, nuts and caramel. Medium bodied.

Hazy orange with a big white head. Fruity aroma with yeasty notes and a little alcohol. Very sweet yeasty flavour with just a touch of bacon smoke.

Bottle 75cl.Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, orange, strawberrys, peat - rubber. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (060808)

Bottled@GBBF2008. Ambery golden colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, fruits, smoke, cheese and some nuts. Flavour is tar, smoke, sweet fruits and some burning alcohol.

Small yellow head, fast gone; dark orange colour, lot’s of UFO’s. Shoepolish, varnish, very uninviting - to put it mildly - nose. Tarry taste, phenols abound, on the verge of absurd. Long aftertaste, but if there’s some alcoholburn, it switches to a Lapsang Souchong quality, nearly saving the beer. Sorry, but the onslaught is too terrible to drink freely.
