Jämtlands president is a bottom fermented beer in the style of a north German pilsener. The beer has a medium bitterness and nice aroma of Czechish hops.

Denna ljusa välbalanserade lageröl fungerar utmärkt som en törstsläckande sällskapsöl eller varför inte prova den till stekt strömming serverad med potatismos och skirat smör.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a slight haze and a smallish, white head. Nose dominated by aromatic hops. And this really is a hoppy beer with a very long and lasting bitterness. Definitely North-German in style. 300700

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, huge white bubbly head. Orange, lemon and hops in aroma. Strong hoppy kick when drinking, otherwise some citric notes. Citric hoppy finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. Quite hoppy aroma, citrusy and fresh. Also a little bready. Clear golden colour, small white head. Looks a bit flat. Flavour is dusty and mild with a little citrusy hoppiness to it. Carbonation is mild for a pils, which suits me fine. Aftertaste slightly harsh, like German pils, and citric bordering on sour.

Straw-golden, very big bubbled to small, transparent head. Very grainy nose, warm summergrain, chaff. Toasted malts, not overly sweet taste. Tad of medicinal flavour in the background. Finish is dry, metallic-hoppy. Light bodied. Nothing but a ’luxus’ Pilsner, really.

Golden, a bit hazy yellow, small white head, mostly vanishing. Excellent fruity and flowery Saaz aroma. Malty, fruity and lightly hoppy flavor. Ending sweetish, aftertaste is fruity and grassy.

Blond color. Peculiar aroma, with light vanilla, flowers (especially orange flowers), green tea. Very good Pilsener, with reasonable maltiness, very good hopping, leading to an interesting final, very strong, with also a light fruitness and very good hop.
