This is our Dark Cherry Midwest Fruit Tart. Look for big, jammy berry flavours with a fizz and aroma reminiscent of Lactobrusco. Our house blend of microbes bring out an earthy note that will remind you of sucking on the last bits of flesh from a cherry pit.

Pounder can for 3$. Nose if very faint but if you search for the aroma, you may get just a hint of cherry, just not too sure. Pour is very nice attractive lighter hazy maroon. First taste is tart fer sher. Then, just as you start to enjoy the wild attitude of this brew, you get a little alky boost in there. Yea, as I approach the middle the boozy aspect starts to hit home, it begins to feel a little like a fortified malt fruit beverage but much more refined. It never stoops to the cave man neanderthal troglodyte level of those nasty alky fruit bombs; it keeps a civilized stiff upper lip. Yes, I'm really enjoying this happy BS! Its better than I thot it would be. That cherry flavor in there is so realistically tart, like real sour cherries! No artificial poppycock here, baby! Nice pleasant fruited wild ale type of finish. Good job there RD! I shouldah got a sixer of these kind souls.

Red with a small white head. Tangy and sweet with a tart cherry note. Long finish. Medium body.

Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Cherry, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of tart cherry, salty wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a black cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
