Bottle. A deep ruby, brownish beer with a tan head. Chalky, slightly sourish aroma with a good dash of mocha and coffee. Sweetish, yet coffee-dry flavor with chocolate. Medium to full body. It finishes with a lasting, roasted, chocolate flavor. A nice beer, but not too interesting. Except for the ABV, it’s almost sessionable. (071123)

50 cL bottle. Pours deep brown with a red hue and a creamy, lasting and light brown head. Roasted malt and slight bitter aroma. Coffee rosted malt flavour. Has some breadlike notes and a chocolate softness. Slight sweet and bitter towards the finish. Solid porter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, warm, orangey brown with a beige head. Roasted malt and a touch of nuts in the nose. Surprisingly thin body, lightly burned malts with a vague, underlying tartness and a fairly bitter finish. This doesn’t really have the body or the malt base to be a substantial porter in my eyes. 280607

Draught, 6.1% at KØ07. Burnt, roasted flavour. Some malt bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, but OK, I guess. A bit boring, though.

Bottled. An unclear dark reddish-brown beer with a huge orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of chocolate, strong acidic coffee, vegetables, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish, where notes of coffee and vegetables lingers around. The body is thin inspite of the 6.1% ABV.
