Bottled@EBF. Dark nut brown color, caffe latte head. Strong aroma of clove, tar and menthol. Strange flavor: foamy mouthfeel, licorice saltyness, cloves then it’s all gone. Weird. Warming.

Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Dark brown. Aroma of chcolate and menthol. Sweet and fruity, full bodied with complex flavour of smoke, fruit, phenols and black currant. Not the most subtle of beers, but with the powerful and confusing impact of a wide array of flavours it becomes both ineteresting and enjoyable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very hazy, dark brown with a dense, beige head. Intense aroma of fir and yeast. Quite full-bodied with intense, spicy, somewhat cough-syrupy accents and an odd, uderlying salinity. Somewhat astringent in the finish. Odd but interesting. 281207

50 cL bottle, thanks to Papsø for getting 1 out of only 50 bottles. Pours hazy dark brown with a light reddish hue and a dense light brown head. Ginger heavy aroma with a mild chocolate malt note beneath. Flavour is metallic malty with a lingering ginger finish. Mild chocolate malt smooth. Soapy feel. Ginger and slight bitter finish swept in chocolate malt. WAY too much ginger for my liking, this brew could have been fantastic if only it had a fraction of the ginger it has.
