A couple of bubbles near the edge pass for a head. Amber body. Light wooden caramelly aroma. Dry-sweet floral wooden caramelly taste with notes of straw and grain. Mouthfeel is a bit watery and dusty. Dry wood and grain aftertaste. Not bad. (0.1l taster cask at EBF ’08.)

Cask at GBBF 2006. I am still to find a Hilden beer that I like. This was dark copper colour with no head. Very farty yeast aroma. Yeasty caramel in mouth. Dull malts otherwise and dull finish.
