Bouteille. [notes 2006]

Can from Prince International Supermarket, Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some cream corn on the aroma. Not a great aroma. Slightly sticky in the mouth. Flavour isn’t great, some corn, some cereal, not much to give it a high score. Vague hop on the end, some lemon. It’s just not a very good beer. Ugh. Yep, not finishing this one, it’s a drain pour.

0.5l bottle (as Zelta Premium Lager Beer) from Beers of Europe. Clear golden colour with a large white head, fairly smooth but diminishes quite quickly leaving a very thin sliver, some lacing. Not much of an aroma to speak of, light bready, hoppy and malt notes. Taste of lightly sweet malts, hops. Inoffensive but a little bland.

(Bottle, clear glass, 0.5 l - BB 290916, thanks Marduk, 20151203) The beer poured golden and clear. Its heaf was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, paper and corn. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, paper, hint of grass and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A poor and pointless pale lager.

Bottle. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Sweet, corny lager with a hint of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. Not so good.

Huge thanks to kevnic2008 for that one. Bottle looks simple but okay. Dont like that white glass bottles. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, a bit metallically, more and more dry malty. Could be more complex. But okay.

Peculier Pub, NYC bottle ($6): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sugary lager with some grain. Taste is pretty sweet and corny. Very low bitterness. This is not a very interesting beer.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with average white head that soon disappears. Mild malty aroma plus some grainy aroma as well. Slightly skunky. Malty and light taste, slightly watery, weak bitterness in the end. Drinkable, but nothing else.
