Clear 500ml bottle with a ring-pull cap: BBD 11th June 2014, shared with my father on 25th May 2014 during an afternoon of lager/pilsner comparing. The bottle was obtained from an Eastern European store in Boston, Lincolnshire. Basic and cheap feel to this bright golden brew. No aroma, very little actual taste, just a refreshing drink with some alcohol hanging around the edges. The worst beer of the five tried during the little session. No redeeming attributes, glad it was fairly cheap to buy.

Lys brun klar med tynt hvitt skum. Malt, syrlig sitrus og kornlukt. Smaker vann med kullsyre som det har ligget noen sitronbåter i.

Boks 0,5l fra dagligvarebutikk i Riga. Fortært i heimen 14 Okt 13. Veldig lys gylden. Gulskjær. Lavt skum som nesten blir helt borte. Svak kål- / gressaroma. Kvalmende smak. Kål & mais - og altfor søt. Nei og nei. Vasken fikk 80%.

Bottle from off-license opposite Wakefield Westgate station. Pale golden with a very small head. Ordinary European lager in many respects but its redeeming feature is its silky smooth texture.

Can. A pale golden beer with just a tiny, white head on top. The aroma is fruity and grainy with dusty malts. Rather similar flavor, equally uninteresting, but at least there’s a vague hoppy bitterness. Thin on the palate, medium body and pleasant carbonation. Short finish. A superbly uninteresting beer, but at least it doesn’t taste bad. 130111

Clear Yellow, Big Head, Decent Lacing. Funky Aroma, not exactly skunk, but something along those lines. Would not be surprising since it came in a white bottle... Malt, corn, buttery, alcohol shines at the end... Gone bad or plain no good beer. Either way, nothing good or interesting here. Drinkable, but one was plenty for me... Pass it...

Half liter bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of raw grain, floral hops. The taste is sweet malts, corn, a tart grape-like note, green banana. Thin bodied. A little different, at least.

50cl can from Riga Airport. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Getting pretty tired of these now - just another standard pale lager. Weak malty aroma with hints of fruits and cooked vegetables. Sweet, slightly watery and not much bitterness to speak of. Very uninteresting, but drinkable. Fair enough, but nothing premium about this.
