33cl as a gift. Pours hazy caramel coloured brown with an off-white head. Malty and bready aroma with lots of caramel and notes of rye bread. Sweet, bready and caramrly with kvass flavours and a very modest bitterness. To sweet and a bit to much like regular kvass, but quite drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Stas. Hazy amber. Aroma of caramel, honey, paper and rye bread. Sweet flavor, caramelly, honey-ish, with a citric hint and a toasty note. Quite light-bodied. Kinda kvass-like.

Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Dark amber coloured, medium sized beige head that stays for a while, pure sweet kvass nose. Really sweet kvass taste with notes of caramel and hint of tobacco. Also some notes of dried fruits in the a way too sweet finish. Interesting in a way but...

Can, from Lithuania, thanks Ogi! So 50% Duonos Gira, 50% Kunigaikščių (how that makes 3.5% is beyond me). Geez. Dark red-amber body. Creamy, slightly butterish and caramelly kvass aroma. Sweet kvass taste.... Basically a sweet commercial kvass that had its’ ABV boosted. If that’s your thing, go ahead... it’s not like it’s flawed or anything it’s just not a thing I dig that much.

500ml can kindly shared by djoeye. Beige bubbly head, fragile lacing. Unclear, red-browninsh coloured body. Aroma is sweet bready malts. Bread-like flavours followed by dried fruits, lightly spiced. Kvas-impression, not that sweet though. Easy to drink. Just alright (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

Medium beige head. Hazy dark brown body. Earthy wild berry and rye bread aroma with spicy toffee and caramel notes. Sweet earthy toffee and caramel taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Sweet toffee and caramel aftertaste with carraway and rye bread notes. Also notes of linoleum and old books. Nice, and a bit weird. (0.33l bottle, from Bamb Alyne, Vilnius.)

Ciekawe piwo o rubinowo-czerwonawej poświacie, pachnące kwiatami i świeżymi owocami. Lekka nuta słodkawa która nie jest uciążliwa na podniebieniu. Aromat przyprawowy w finiszu zdecydowany.

Can 500ml (Maxima, BB 04/2012)
Dark ruby color, small steady off-white head, some lace. Sweetish syrupy aroma, ryebread, typical kvass nose. Light to medium bodied. Sugary, molasses, ryebread, caramel. Although has 50% beer, tastes more like commercial Baltic kvass. Somewhat drinkable.
