Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, small head. Intense smokey aroma that reminds me of bacon. Starts mild, fine malty, not as smokey as exspected. Light dry notes. Finish mild smokey, spicy. Could be more intense, but okay.

Süffiger, etwas malziger Antrunk mit einer eher herben aus rauchigen Note. Später wird das Bier zwar rauchiger, bleibt aber sehr mild. Prickelnd, gerstig, der Hopfen kommt inklusive Bitternote zum Ende hervor. Netes, aber nicht wirklich charackterstarkes Bier. /7/8/8/11/8

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich head. Fruity nose with mild smoke. Mid sweet with soft mouthfeel and medium body, notes of caramel. Medium bitterness. Very subtle smokiness.

Bottle (@ Zum Bautzener Tor, Dresden): Hazy, reddish-golden coloured, stable white head with a little lace; malty, a bit barnyardy nose with a sweetish-toasty background, some fruits and hops detectable; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering bitter-toasty finish. O.K., but where is the smoke.......

Bottle 50cl. Sving top @ [ Tasting by Maria ].Light unclear medium orange amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, smoke notes ala tar - medicine, smoked ell. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (060908)
