Bottle Pours a dark mahogany with a very robust off-white head that is very thick and resiliant. Lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is molassas, smokey campfire, prunes and the alcohol is aparant. I hope the taste does not betray the 7% so redily. First impression is the sharp bitterness. The somkey wood is obvoius as well but those nise little sweet molassas and pitted ffruit are nowhere to be found. The alcohol is prevelent and only gives way to the stronger and stronger bitterness that pushes itself to the front rown like a redneck at a Billy Ry Cyrus concert. Sadly this is what it leaves you with. Palate is a bit for the style. I was hoping for so much more from a member of my favorite style. Thanks HeRftYDrF for the trade though.
