Half pint is a dark, translucent black with some beige head. Nose has toasted malt and licorice but also raisinette and some date. Big licorice in the mouth. Felt sweet at first but maybe I was just feeling the booze. Chewy malt and molasses. Full bodied with some sneaky heat. 7 4 7 4 14
