Bottle at home, thanks to Luca (Mortlach), 14/02/14. Slow gusher. Pours a murky orange amber with a moderate off white covering that stays for the party. Nose is funky, tarte grapes, germaline tinge, dank wood, citric tinged straw, light spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, tarte green berry fruits, dank, light must, appel core on the wain, white wine oaky effect. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a gentle prickle, semi drying close laced with tarte fructis. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Mortlach for this bottle. Bottled 4/10. Cloudy reddish brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, honey, dark fruits and some cardboard. Sweet flavor, malty, honey-ish, caramelly, with dark fruits and some oxidation. Finishes with a faint spicy hint. Medium-bodied.

(bottle) clear to cloudy (bottom) amber with a small brown head; aromas of wet wood, horse blanket, sour cherry; sour flavour with a long medium sour finish, like a decent lambic

Bottled, bought at Panil. Drank before the sour version. Cloudy murky brown color, huge frothy off-white head. Dusty aroma, fruity, hint of red wine, hint of oak wood, caramel malty. Bit nutty. Bit dryish in taste, hint of wood and fruit. Decent stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Barriquée on 23 Dec 2012 at 17:40 - Score: 10

75 cL bottle, as Panil Barriquee Evento, red label with santa and reindeers. Aroma is dry malty - slight mouldy. Light sourish flavoured with a distinct milky lacto touch mixed with a pronounced mouldy malty flavour. Acidic and malty finish with a somewhat infection like sourness. Utterly uninteresting.
