Nose is ripe barrel, dried fruit esters, toffee, molasses, spice, dates, booze.
Taste comprises fruit cake mix, booze, figs, chocolate, bourbon, spice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Top drawer offering.

Bottle ordered from Left Field Beer. Darkest brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma is boozy and chewy. Dark fruit. Rye grains and spice. Bourbon booze and sweetness. Chewy fruit cake malts. Flavourwise it's barrel led - bitter and definitely boozy - over dark fruits and equally dark fruit cake. Thick. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yep.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Dark brown to black color with a small beige head. Smell and taste mals, rye, toffee and some bourbon notes? Quite nice.

Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Black body under a fine beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, rye, dry fruit and Bourbon. Taste is sweet and alcoholic warm with dark malt, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, Bourbon and warming alcohol. Solid and nice.

Clear red brown beer, no head. Aroma: sweet impression, lots and lots of caramel, earthy, more caramel, vanilla, milk chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of alcohol, caramel, lovely, lots of vanilla, earthy touch, sugary, some chocolate. Aftertaste: sugary, gentle acidity, caramel, sweet finish.
