(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20250227) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had vanilla, toasted malts, raisins, prunes and lightly spiciness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, wood, spicy notes, prunes, raisins and bitterness. Aftertaste had vanilla, raisins and bitterness. A tasty brew with not too strong barrel notes.
