Canned at Petelax Beer Festival. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Fruity metallic nose. Sweet with clean, lifeless sticky caramel body. Insufficient malt to reach even medium body. Slight metallic finish.

A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma acidic from the roasted malt, and the flavor is very sweet with notes of cola, though without the stickyness and carbonation. Reminds me somewhat of a Danish Hvidtøl, only this is much stronger. So far my highest rated Icelandic beer - with lots more taste than melted glacier water.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, reddish mahogany with a handsome, creamy and rather retentive, off-white head leaving a discreet lacework. Malty, lightly caramelish nose. Medium-bodied and sweetish malty - a roasted maltiness - with a light bitter finish. Quite pleasant albeit not really with the power of a real Bock. 240706
