This unique Cactus Catalog consists of imperial stout aged 9 months in Blanton's bourbon barrels, imperial stout aged in rum barrels for 17 months, and our dark barleywine aged 4 months in Superstition mead barrels. All these come together to bring flavors of rich dark chocolate and dark Belgian candy sweetness. Balanced with gracefully aged rum notes and an ever so slight tobacco finish. A softer mouthfeel to let this blend shine showcasing characteristics from each individual barrel.

Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is biscuits, chocolate cookies, some liquorice, wood and mild alcohol tones with some whiskey to it as well. Flavour is toffee, bananas, some chocolate cookies, mild liquorice, alcohol and a bit wooden tones. Complex. Alcohol shows, but is not ruining anything in this one.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small head. Generous aroma of treacle, licorice, dates, honey and chocolate. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Rum raisins, chocolate and coffee. Warming, mildly bitter finish.
