Dulle Teve is brewed with a white candy in the kettle and has 10 percent alcohol per volume. It is for sale almost all year round in the brewery.
Dulle Teve is a swear name used in the region for a nasty woman. This was first used by a pub owner who wanted his own beer and was tasting two different possibilities in the Oerbar. His wife became increasingly impatient and phoned him. At that moment the pub owner remarked: "Do you know what you are? A dulle teve!" The brewer immediately saw possibilities: "Now we have to make a beer, we already have the name," he said.

Bottiglia.

Bottle at home. Aroma of ripe fruits, yeast, apples, malt, bread, toffee, caramel, some sugar, clove, more spicy notes, some hops. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. Body is medium, carbonation is quite lively. Nicely complex Tripel!

(Bottle, 0.33 l - 2022 vintage, at One Pint Pub, 20241227) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey, spicy yeast, biscuits and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, spicy yeast, fruitiness, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste had spicy yeast, malts and bitterness. Delicious and complex brew. The alcohol warmth was there but remained hidden enough.

31/5/2024. Bottle at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours almost clear orange amber with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, caramel, yeast, sugar syrup, bubblegum, touch of spice. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Sweet fruity finish. Enjoyable.

From a 330ml bottle on 22/3/2023. Pours a clearish golden with a biggish head. Smells fruit, phenolic and spicy. Very bold on the sip and not as sweet as most triples, with lots of citrus and candied fruit, hints of caramel and lots of spice and that typical Belgian yeast, finishing quite bitter with a hint of sour lemon at the back. Slick palate with lively carbonation. Interesting and different, if not the best triple I've had.
