Dulle Teve is brewed with a white candy in the kettle and has 10 percent alcohol per volume. It is for sale almost all year round in the brewery.
Dulle Teve is a swear name used in the region for a nasty woman. This was first used by a pub owner who wanted his own beer and was tasting two different possibilities in the Oerbar. His wife became increasingly impatient and phoned him. At that moment the pub owner remarked: "Do you know what you are? A dulle teve!" The brewer immediately saw possibilities: "Now we have to make a beer, we already have the name," he said.

Flabbergasting that I've had so many beers but never tried this classic till tonight. Amazing Tripel, basically a farmhouse Tripel in taste. Bit of funk combined with that classic Belgian candy sugar. So easy to drink. Might've guessed 8%, not 10.

Bottled may 2021 Smell-weak caramel, Belgian yeast, some sweetness, sugar. Foam- thin, caramel, sweetness, sugar, malt, weak Belgian yeast, faint acidic tones, alcohol. Head is small, and white. Appearance- generic white bottle cap, with bottled date, label, I will round up. Clear-ish orange amber, weak carbonation. From - snifter Price - 2.99 euros for 0.33l Taste-sweetness, weak acidic and sour tones, Belgian yeast, caramel. Good and weird mixed together at the end feels chaotic. Some sweet-sour-ish aftertaste. I don't think I will seek this again. Bit boozy.

Poured from 33cl bottle (bottled May 201_ last number is cut off). Hazy brownish gold with small white head and a bit of sediment. Candi sugar, Belgian yeast, a bit of booze. Pretty decent.

Bottle. Arch and Abbey, Whitby. Took this back to the digs as a nightcap. Hazed gold. Very decent just off white foam. Lots of spice and fruity yeast notes. Warming alcohol presence. Chewy and rich. Bitterness throughout.

Clear golden. Aroma is pale malt with traces of hop and a few sour fruit. Taste is very sweet malty cereal base with a few fresh and crisp acidic notes hovering above. Oily texture. Caramel finish. Not very complex. Ok drinkability for the high abv. Somehow I still think this is a pale lager gone slightly sour.
