Dulle Teve is brewed with a white candy in the kettle and has 10 percent alcohol per volume. It is for sale almost all year round in the brewery.

Dulle Teve is a swear name used in the region for a nasty woman. This was first used by a pub owner who wanted his own beer and was tasting two different possibilities in the Oerbar. His wife became increasingly impatient and phoned him. At that moment the pub owner remarked: "Do you know what you are? A dulle teve!" The brewer immediately saw possibilities: "Now we have to make a beer, we already have the name," he said.

Yeasty, malty, alcoholic triple, lots of complexity and the yeast is substantial. A big tasting triple though not as wild I remember it being.

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a murky golden/amber colour with a huge throthy white head and lots of sediment in the glass. Aromas of stoney fruits, apricots, apples, caramel, floral and spice. Taste is very much the same notes as the aroma with some peppery notes and a nice fruity citrus tang on the palate. A little sweetness (not too much) and a little bitterness makes it beautifully balanced. Alcohol well hidden. Thin to medium bodied with a lively mouthfeel and a lovely long fruity and slightly acidic finish. Very good.

Semi-hazy deep orange with a medium sized very dense white head. Good enough persistence and lacing. Rich and potent aroma: caramel, sugar, fruity notes (mostly orange), hints of spiciness and a resinous/grassy presence, with an underlying alcohol presence. This is sadly not matched in the taste, which is as potent as the aroma suggested, but quite confused/undistinct. It's very high in sweetness with strong residual sugars. Aroma notes are still there but quite drowned in this strong sweetness. Alcohol is too strong as well (had many beers with higher abv that could hide it better). Dense bodied with quite high carbonation. Mouthfeel is overall strongly full, possibly too much, i personally feel like a tripel should still be a drinkable kind of beer and not a super-slow sipper. I liked all the other offerings from De Dolle and that's why i decided to give this a second try before giving it a not so good review, but that second try couldn't change my opinion.
