Dulle Teve is brewed with a white candy in the kettle and has 10 percent alcohol per volume. It is for sale almost all year round in the brewery.
Dulle Teve is a swear name used in the region for a nasty woman. This was first used by a pub owner who wanted his own beer and was tasting two different possibilities in the Oerbar. His wife became increasingly impatient and phoned him. At that moment the pub owner remarked: "Do you know what you are? A dulle teve!" The brewer immediately saw possibilities: "Now we have to make a beer, we already have the name," he said.

Huge off white growing head stayed on a slowly carbonating, hazy apple juice coloured body with plenty of yeast bobbing about Not a big aroma but there's a bit of yeast & citrus Medium bodied, effervescent on the palate with a creamy touch & a crisp, clean finish. Bitter lemon, bitter citrus, malt hints, sweet citrus, sour, zest, yeast & apricot tastes.

Bottle, vintage 1997, thanks SinH4! Pours unclear amber. Aroma is dried plum, vegetable pie, herbs and flowers, little caramel, but all of that unbelievably interesting and complex. Body is medium, super smooth, still dried fruit. Rich but not overly complex. Feels just a few years too old, but still a very enjoyable beer. Great!

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, large frothy white head. Aroma: Yellow fruit, white Sugar, yeast. Taste: Over medium sweet malty, white Sugar, hints of peach, apricots, raisins, yeast. Over medium to full body, average to above average carbonation. A tad too sweet for me, but overall pretty nice Tripel with some complexity.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy amber with massive fluffy white head. Sweet malts, grapes, grapefruit peels, oak, sulfite, custard, bourbon, fudge, leather, white pepper, breadiness. Big sweet and moderate bitter, light spicy yeast. Medium body and soft carbonation.
