Dulle Teve is brewed with a white candy in the kettle and has 10 percent alcohol per volume. It is for sale almost all year round in the brewery.
Dulle Teve is a swear name used in the region for a nasty woman. This was first used by a pub owner who wanted his own beer and was tasting two different possibilities in the Oerbar. His wife became increasingly impatient and phoned him. At that moment the pub owner remarked: "Do you know what you are? A dulle teve!" The brewer immediately saw possibilities: "Now we have to make a beer, we already have the name," he said.

Dark orange colour with small head.Fruity of orange peel and citrus nice oily texture and.fresh. fruity flavors well balanced and smooth overall.

Bottle at home, BBE October 16. Not sure how old this is. Pours a light straw, big bubbly head. Aroma is grass, yeast, sweet, candy. Taste is sweet, complex, yeast, fresh grass. Nice

Bottle. Appearance - golden, with a decent continental head. Nose - honey and dried fruits. Some light spice such as white pepper and maybe cardamon. Taste - mainly dried fruit soaked in honey. Palate - rich and full bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - good, but many other Abbey Tripels, have a better tang than this.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy bronze body with tiny yeast flecks floating beneath a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of apple, yeast, honey, banana and white pepper. Flavour of white sugar, grass, flowery hops and lemon sherbet. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A touch too sweet in my opinion but I really enjoyed it.

33cl bottle at home. Semi-hazy golden pour with a tall white head with good retention. Visible carbonation rising to the top. Notes of honey, some dank saison funkness, floral hops, mineral components, malt sugars. Medium body with high carbonation and a bitter-sweet and refreshing finish.

0.33 l bottle at "’t Brugs Beertje". Slightly hazy, golden amber with a large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, very yeasty-spicy aroma of cloves, banana, pear, vanilla and a bit of honey. Sweetish, very yeasty-spicy taste of banana, cloves, vanilla, honey and hints of peach, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, very yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Tasty, rather intense but well-balanced stuff, unfortunately too much carbonation.

Botella 33 cl en el Lupulo tomada en junio 2010. Sin lote ni fecha cpref. (r1428). Triple belga con sabores maltosos algo secos y buena sensación alcohólica Cuerpo medio a intenso de 10 vol. Buena.

Oranssin kuparinen olut todella rajusti vaahtoavalla vaahdolla. Alussa lasiin pystyi kaatamaan vain puolet pullosta ja tällöin olut näytti varsin kirkkaalta. Kun koko pullo on kaadettu lopulta lasiin, on olut selvästi sameahko. Vaahto häviää aika nopeasti lopulta ja jättää hennon valkoisen vaahtokerroksen sekä pienen tiskiainemaisen pitsin. Tuoksu voimakkaan hedelmäinen ja mausteinen. Myös maku hedelmäinen ja mausteinen varsinkin loppupuolella makua, mutta alkoholi puskee turhan paljon läpi. Maltaisuus myös läsnä jälkimaussa. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma.
