A rather malty brew, which we think goes very well with cheeses - even well matured blue cheeses. You can also try our Amber paired with a grilled dish. Recommended serving temperature 10°C/50°F.
Ingredients: Maris Otter, Munich, and caramel malt; Chinook and Williamette hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

Tap as Henrik 20 år@Henrik 22.Jun13. Pours a dark amber body with a small head, that rapidly turns into a filmy layer. Pleasant aroma of wet hops, flowers and citrus, hint of mould. Well balanced and full bodied. Hints of caramel and spices, that adds to the taste of hops. Thanks Kenneth!

On tap at Pingvinen, Bergen as Henrik 20 r. Pours a slightly hay amber colour with a creamy beige medium head. The aroma is sweet with caramel, sweet biscuits and apricot. The flavour is also sweet with more apricot, fruity hops and a little citrus. Has a smooth and rich mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A well-balanced and nice amber ale.

50 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 22.08.2009
Aroma is sweet with fruity notes, caramel and some licorice. Flavour is sweet with licorice, fruits, caramel and raisins. Like a light (and sweet) version of God Jul.

(Bottle, batch #332 - BBE241009, at Pikkulintu) Poured dark brown and lightly hazy with medium sized and white head. Aroma was malty, sweet and raisiny. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, roastedness, dried plum, lightly modlasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly roasty and bitter. The age had affected the flavour and aroma and not only in a positive way.
