500ml bottle from Utobeer. Cloudy amber colour with thin off white head. Sweetish hop aroma, bit of plastic, some promise of syrupy fruit. OK in mouth, some red fruit flavour. Hops on end are quite peppery and hot. Bit muddy and earthy. Hopa are nice, but the rest is not too interesting

Bottle 0,5l. Bach 153. Orange brown colour. Cloudy. Lasting tanned head.A rounded body with some fruity hints. After a while the bitter aftertaste kicks in - and lasts forever. The normal heavy sedimentation from Nøgne Ø. KI=8

Batch 153. Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Norway. Golden and hazy body. Grassy and fruity nose. Roundness and deph in flavour. Taste of fresh apples. Light malty and hoppy palate. Smooth and very easy too drink. Fruitiness along the finish.

Bottled. Dark golden , beige head. Fruity bitterness in the finish. Easy drinkable

(Bottle 50 cl) Lightly hazy dark amber with a handsome, creamy, off-white head. Fruity, fresh aroma. Distinctly sweet with loads of caramel and fruit - apricot and peach in particular. Actually some very fantastic esters. Wauw. 120106

Bottled. (BB 050607) Hazy amber color, with an off-white head. Hoppy fruitiness and malty aroma. Malty flavor with both light roasted and sweet elements. Easy-drinkable like a session beer, even if it is 6.0% ABV. Long-lasting fruity bitterness in the finish. This bottle is 2.5 years old, I think it has matured a bit, as I remember it to have a little more sting. Rating: 6-3-7-4-15-2.5. (061112)

Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy amber body with a decent, creamy, beige head. Nice lacings. Malty and hoppy aromas blend nicely, giving roastyness, some caramel, and citrus and green pinecones. The flavor is hoppy up front, with citrus and pinecones, supported by a roasted, caramel maltyness. Fine bitterness lingering. Some sweetness too. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. It rounds off with a balanced maltyness and bitterness. Easy to drink and well-tasting. (090216)

Hazy amber brown color. Sweet apple pie nose. Smooth malty mouth with apples. Dry finish

Offwhite, coarse medium head of quickly shrinking foam over slightly hazy light red-brown body. Aroma of lightly roasted malts with notes of wood and traces of citrusy hops. Sourish, oily taste of bitterness. Not that much taste; essentially dominated by the citrusy hops. Lacking in body. Dry aftertaste. Not really up to usual NØ standard.

Bottled. Dark hazy orange colour, big beige foamy head, lacing. Aroma of malt and fruit. Flavour is malty with citric hoppyness. Long hoppy bitterish aftertaste with grassy notes. Also some hints of smoke/roast in flavour and aftertaste.

Pine, flowery and perfumed hop aroma. Cloudy brown amber colouring. Honeyish malt, some yeast edges, a good portion flowery hops, citrus. Dry bitter finish, perfumed retronasal. Medium body, fizzling mouthfeel. Goodie.
