Blizzard is a thick, rich, and sweet double mash imperial pastry stout made with Danish honey and a crazy amount of mango. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature, 12-15°C. Collab with Kasper Brew Co.
Brewer's Notes: wanting to do something a little unusual for our latest collab, and then realizing Kasper already had a ton of great quality mango purée on hand, maybe a mango stout can't quite be called a "no brainer" but close. You know what they say "When life give you mangos..."
Smooth and silky sweet upfront, followed by big, slightly tart mango, and finishing with a hint of honey, chocolate and other mild roasted notes.
Ingredients: malted barley, oats, wheat, rye, honey, mango, hops and yeast

Bottle 25 cl. Pours thick, opaque black - almost syrupy - with a small, short-lived beige head. Fatty curtains in the glass. Sweet roast aroma, sweet licorice and a coconutty feel, but not quite. Super rich body, with a low carbonation. Very, very sweet and complex without the honey and mango standing out as such, but they seemingly work together to make a very complex Stout that even has a vague underlying tartness. Hard to describe, but delicious indeed, although the sticky sweetness makes it hard to drink. 211025
