Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 10/2/2017. Deep gold with a slight haze and decently-sized white head. Aroma of tangerines and leafy hops. Flavour had some sweetish, biscuity malts, more fruit leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Clear yellow, sweet citrus flavour. Flavour follows suit, a bit of hop and some sourness but it’s a touch sickly to be properly drinkable.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - caramel. Maybe butterscotch. Taste - caramel and resin. Palate - light to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a difficult finish. Overall - quite unpleasant. Is this what the brewer intended?

Navigation Tavern Beer Festival. Golden with a small creamy head. Heavy floral notes in both aroma and taste. Experienced again at the White Horse in Overstrand, fairly similar with a few more hoppy notes and lessened floral.

Cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Dark gold, lovely little white head with generous lacing. Light scent of orchard fruits, biscuits and hay. Bittersweet taste with a clean citrussy finish. This is ok but I can’t get too terribly excited by yet another bog-standard bitter, despite the near perfect condition in which it is served.
