Cask - Biscuit malts and not much else. Cloudy gold with a light white head. Light malts and a general sweetness. Thankfully tastes better than it smells.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear, golden colour with a scummy white head. Aroma of peach, candy sugar and straw. Grassy hop flavour with some apricot sweetness and grains. Finish was chewy malt, brown sugar and floral hops. Pretty decent bitter.

Nov 2011: Hand pulled pint in the excellent ‘Maypole,’ Cambridge, England. The beer looked a lovely golden, light amber colour, the head being white and a little on the thin side. Good lacing however appeared on the UK sleeve glass as the beer level sank, so although the original head seemed sparse it did have enough strength to produce the lacing. I found Hops in the aroma (Cascade, I believe); not much of anything else really. The taste was initially semi-citrus (mild lemon and grapefruit) with a sweeter malt middle and finish that counteracted the hop bitterness nicely. Inoffensive and ordinary more than exciting and invigorating: well made but not pushing any boundaries. I actually liked it, easy to drink and if I hadn’t been on a mission I would have stayed and had a session on this beer.
