RE-RATE: Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge on 11th May 2012. Golden amber with quick-to-die head and only initial lacing. Tart citric aroma, then a hoppy and smoky main taste in mouth, leading to a floral, but dryish finish. Light mouthfeel.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Half, cask at The Castle, Holborn. Unclear, light amber. Thin, white head. Smell of late fruits. Malt-fruity taste with a sweet orange resonance. Not enough bitterness to counter the sweetness. Thin to medium bodied (London, 03.08.2009).

Bottle, shared by fonefan. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head of small size. Grainy, citrusy-fruity aroma that is quite weak. Too weak on the flavor too, with grain and malt, and some apple-like fruityness. Good bitterness towards the end. Some sour hints too, in the finish. Medium body. A quite decent beer, nothing more.
