(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London) An average bitter. I can’t think of anything special to mention about this one. It was easy to drink, no surprises - neither in taste nor in aroma and no flaws either. Good session beer that won’t get your attention.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body under a white head. Butterscotch and citrus in the aroma, not much else, and not very pronounced, but at least without off-flavors. The aroma is much the same, and has a piney, citrusy bitter finish. Medium, quite effervescent mouthfeel. Quite refreshing and drinkable, but also un-challenging. Would probably be easy to down a few, but also boring. (080822)
