Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. I was amazed that I hadn’t rated this before. Gold with thin beige head. Decent golden bitter. OK malts, ok citrus hops. It’s ok, fine, ok flavours not great but drinable all the same.

Cask at the Turf Tavern, Oxford, 01-06-08 Pours mid -gold with slim white head. Initial taste is a bittersweet crunch, then there is a twiggy, sticky woodland floor sort of taste, dryness spreads across the roof of the mouth and hops put in a good appearance at the end, quite interesting.

Brown red-tinged body with almost no foam, but leaving great lacing on the glass. Weak hoppy aroma. Rounded taste of hop bitterness and fruitiness. Nice bitter end (Half pint on cask at the King’s Arms in Norwich 24.09.2006)

Dark golden ale with a thin off-white head. Light malts with pleasant fresh hoppy notes. Good malt with a nice discreet hops in final, and nice alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Good recommendation from the landlord.

[Cask at GBBF 2003]Almost no aroma, only slight notes of bitterness. The color is a light amber and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is a cask flat sweetness with a good hoppiness from a great sort of hops, that makes it end on a light bitterness, that lingers.
