Double Swan is a very pale ale, brewed using Pale ale malt only. The hops used are English Fuggles, Progress and Goldings, and an American hop Willamette. This beer has a floral aroma, refreshing to the taste with good bitterness and a slightly sweet mouthfeel

Bottle 50cl.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (220808)

Bottle at home .. amber ... sweet fruit nose ... medium body ... over carbonated ... swet fruity slightly metalic hops ... low bitterness light dry linger.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy golden with a basically absent head. Aroma of yeast, fruit and a little citrus. Medium body, a little sweet fruits before a dry and lightly bitter finish. 220808

Bottled@Monks Café, Stockholm. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, grass, some mild fruits and earth. Flavour is hops, grass, mild yeastyness as well as some mild wooden dryness. Mouthdrying.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. It pours a slightly hazy golden-orange body with a small off-white head. Fruity and malty nose, quite citrusy, with a cellarish note. Fruity, citrusy flavor with a roasted touch and a hint of cellar. Medium body. Citrusy, bitter finish with some chalky notes. Pleasant bitterness that lasts. A quite decent, quaffable and quenching golden ale. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and vegetable note. Mild acidic to citric and bitter hops flavoured to a mild malt base. Lasting bitterness into the far finish. Mild acidic to citric hoppy finish.
