Send your taste buds on a sensory explosion with this easy drinking, strong Norfolk ale. A moderate bitterness engulfs the palate whilst the sweetness from the fruit and malt make for a full bodied finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - bright amber with a decent head. Nose - orange and lightly floral. Taste - burnt orange, tangy orange finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - these days itโs an English Strong Ale.

Bottle. Picnic Fayre. Cley Next The Sea. Norfolk. Orangey amber. Film of white head. Bit of a prune juice and fruit salad thing going on. Juicy and sweet. Taste sets of sweet, then turns dry, with a little bitterness. Fairly light palate, given the ABV. Fruity dry, light bitter finish. Good stuff. Must try and find it on cask.

Bottle on the train to Brussels for Paulโs Pre-Wedding Beverage Bonanza. Pours clear, amber-gold with a small, white foam head. Ripe fruit aroma with light toast and faint alcohol. medium to big sweet flavor with some orange, toasty sugar, bread and a bit of pear. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly warming finish with light marmalade, toasty sugar and bread, some caramel and booze. Yeah, not bad at all.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe, Kingโs Lynn
Hazy amber color; generous, compact head. The aroma is light and simple, the flavor has some malt, moderate sweetness, alcohol perception beyond expectations, light fruity touch and a light presence of vegetables; the bitterness is low, the final is just a bit drier.
Very forgettable and overpriced.

Cask gravity @ Battersea BF 2012. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma with weak hints of dark fruit. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a dry woody malty caramel finish.

Bottle on the Eurostar to Brussels as part of my Pre-Wedding Celebrations, thanks to Mr. Bunce. It pours amber, with a foamy white head. The nose is pear drops, sweet pear, melon, perfumed and tinned fruit salad. The taste is sweet syrup, wood, brown sugar, melon, pear, plum, raisin, currant and lots of booze. Medium body, moderate carbonation and syrupy mouth-feel. Far too boozy.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - courtesy of rosenbergh) The beer poured reddish orange and cloudy. Its head was small. Cramell, malts yeast, and tangerine in the aroma. Palate was quite light bodied and dry with low carbonation. Taste contained hops, malts, caramell, mild acridness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. This beer was quite dull.
