Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, excotic fruits - tangerine - madarin, plum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, a light alcohol - peppery burn and a long finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. The beer is nice but it gets quick tomuch.. (190808)

Bottled at Monk’s Cafรฉ, Stockholm. Hazy golden, no head. lactic black currant aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and lightlyu caramelly. Some alcohol is evident, but overshadowed by lactic citricity. Fairly low bitterness. The acidity puzzles me. Is it intentional? It seem somewhat out of place, but also gives an interesting twist.

Cask@GBBF2008. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet fruity hops and mild notes of berries. Flavour is quite much alcohol, sweet fruityness and quite harsh grassyness. Aftertaste is just alcohol and some grassyness. Somehow I came to think of a malt liquor meeting an ale when I had this...

From 50 cL bottle, pours slight hazy orange with a white head. Grainy and a hay and fruity nose. Slight sweet and grainy flavour. Reasching into to the dry. Decent.

Mild compared to American barleywines, but a nice change. Gold and only a little cloudy. Considerable hops for the style, and they come through with fruit in the aroma. Flavor has malt, some sugar, wildflowers, and light hops.

Cask Pale amber, clear beer; small off-white head. Flowery, herbal hoppy nose, UK yeast esters very apparent. First hit is maltsyrup taste, ending in a more cookie flavour. Thereโ€™s a liqueurish taste there as well, maybe upheld by some fusels. Whatโ€™s gone are the hops. Ending, warming up, as some oversugared orange marmalade. Quite slick, nearly oily. Well, yeah... not without its merits. A sugared, beefed-up Bitter?

500ml bottle sampled with Finn at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Hazy orange. Almost no foam. Compact dark fruit aroma. Flavour: Sweet dried fruit with a yeasty touch. Full bodied (23.09.2006).

Bottle 0,5l. Golden coloured. unclear. A tiny head. The alcohol is well hidden - in fact most of the beer was hidden. Disappointing for a barley wine.
