Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden-blonde with a thin head. Fruit hopped ale with plenty of orange flavour. There’s some sugary sweetness in its nose alongside the orange notes.

Cask at the Columbia press Watford jdw. Yellow straw coloured pour with a thin white head and a little haze. Aroma is berry citrus, straw, grainstore and earth. Flavour is composed of tangy citrus, berry, hedgerow hop. Little bit of tropical fruits and floral in there as well. Palate is crisp and grainy with a little sweetness. Finish is straw and earthy. Pretty sessionable and nice hop flavour.

Golden ale with loose, off-white, quickly dissipating head and deep golden blonde colour, clear. Aroma of bitter honey, green apple, caramel, cheesy hops; smooth maltiness in the mouth, dried fruits, apple peel, powerful ’green’ and resinous hop bitterness in the end, long and dry. Very thirst-quenching.

Cask at the Happy Man, Englefield Green - 17/08/12. Clear golden blonde. Sweet nose with hops and pale malts. Taste follows nose, nothing too exciting here. Light to medium in body, wettish beer with a slightly peppery finish.
