Re-rating. Was a bit of a hard marker the last time. It pours beautifully and there’s lovely dried fruit on the nose this time. Overall, a well balanced palate and very tasty. Previous rating 07/03/11 6/3/6/3/12 = 3 Slightly muesli on the nose. A light golden ale in appearance. Grainy on the palate and a tiny amount of grapefruit on the finish. Average structure and texture. A good ale that is balanced but not as exciting as their other brews. Re-rate from 5 litre keg (first rate was 2.5). This beer opitimises balance!

Small offwhite creamy head. Pale yellow body with light carbonation. Light floral minty aroma. Dry minty floral taste with resiny notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Dry mealy resiny aftertaste with floral papery notes. Quite nice, but a bit low on flavour. (0.25l cask, The Blue Blazer, Edinburgh.)
