Our eponymous Flower “Pots Bitter” is a blend of some of Hampshire’s finest malted barley with a selection of Challenger, Goldings and Northdown hops. Toffee amber in colour, with a balanced bitterness from the English hops paired with a subtle malted caramel sweetness from the malts, the award winning Pots Bitter is a traditional British beer and is named after the Flower Pots farm where beer was first brewed in the 1830’s.

Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th June 2008 Pours light amber tiny, tiny head very easy going bitter which is unlikely to offend anyone but the straightfordwardly traditional style also can make it appear ever so slightly ordinary, it was ok tasted fine with some light citrus and fruit and dryingtowards the end but my least favourite of the four on offer at the pub
