Very dark brown color. Light brown head with coffee grinds, dark chocolate and caramel. Decent. The body doesn't hold up. Very flat, dead and nothing going on. Not sure what happened

Cask at The Pennsylvanian (Wetherspoons), Rickmansworth, Herts. A dark ruby/brown coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Roasty, malty, caramel, dark fruit aroma and taste. A decent and drinkable mild.

500ml bottle. Very dark brown with a moderate of white head. Big malt aroma, malty flavours - honky toffee but also some dried fruit - dominate. Not complex by any stretch but does exactly what it needs to

Cask at the Victoria, Beeston. Dark brown, translucent with no head. A deep chocolate malt aroma. Sweet taste with some berry and vegetal notes in the finish. Thin body. I've had better miles but this is decent enough and a treat on Burns Night.

Very dark brown colour. Aroma and flavour have hints of cocoa and dark fruits. Quite rich feeling for a low abv beer.

Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. Pours dark mahogany brown, off-white head. Aroma is rather nondescript. Taste is easy-going with a light nutty sweetness. Not a lot else going on here but pleasant enough.
