75 cl bottle. Rated on 12.10.2009
Murky stuff with disappearing head. Aroma feels a lot like basic lager with grainy malt and some fruity notes. Flavour has grainy malt, some fruits and hints of alcohol. A bit more smooth with the yeast. Better than I expected.

750ml bottle. Pours a gold orange with a large, frothy head. Aroma is corn, caramel, some grass and alcohol. Taste is corn to start then some grass. Slightly dry finish. Lots of carbonation.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Super smooth lager. Good carbonation. Clean cut, juicy malt. Slightly floral but with a bitter undertone. Very nice! 2010 note - underated beer. Too much lager snobbyness going on!

Bottle. Hazy straw colour with big loose white head. Not very distinctive aroma, but pleasant - hint of tangy fruits and hops perhaps. Full bodied with substantial carbonation - very frothy and creamy. Taste has a sweet, somewhat tangy, and is then dominated by yeast and hop bitterness. Overall it is quite special, but not exceptional.

Bottle. Clear golden with a slowly-diminishing medium white head. Somewhat grainy aroma with pale malt, some bread, fruity hints, alcohol and some hoppy notes. Semi-dry flavor with some slightly grainy sweetness, light fruitiness and a bitter, slightly metallic, peppery alcohol finish. Medium-bodied. Boring and not very tasty. "A superior lager beer"? Maybe "A crappy yet somewhat drinkable strong lager".

Flaske 0,75l fra juletilbudet hos Alko Arkadia. Lys gylden på farge. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer lenge. Litt uklart. Syrlig & krydret aroma. Litt pepper. Smaken er flat & kjedelig. Avrundet. Etterlater en smak av alkohol. Veldig uklar på slutten: Rester av ettergjæringen - som burde være positiv, men her var det ikke mye å glede seg over. KI=7

0.75L bottle, hazy perfect gold colour, bubbley small stable head .herbal hoppy aroma with touches of white fruit and lemon. sweet bready flavours with white fruit and the alcohol showing just a bit, extremely smooth mouthfeel and pleasantly long sweet aftertaste with just a touch of sourness. Very nice.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Shared by Tarjei. It pours a pale golden body, slightly hazy, and topped by a dense, white head. Some DMS in the aroma is soon overpowered by the sweetness, hops and some alcohol. A little sulphury touch in the background. The flavor is quite sweet, with nice hops, pale malts, fruits and a decent bitterness. Warming, well carbonated mouthfeel. The finish goes on for a while, with a decent bitterness. A beer that might deserve a higher rating. (090508)

Bottled 0,75 l (Alko Arkadia). Pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma of pear and leather. Quite light palate. Fizzy, Champagne-like carbonation. Pear, cardboard, corn in the flavor. Suprisingly watery for being 8%. Lame ESL, don’t give fancy bottle to fool you.
