Respite from the blistering heat or shattering cold. The Columbus and Simcoe hops make this blonde ale the perfect antidote to the elements.

From cask at the Forth Inn in Aberfoyle. Golden color, white head, very good "blonde" taste, almost like a good Belgian blonde.

Cask at Prince of Wales, ABZ. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is sweet, toasted grain, stone fruits, apple and pear. The taste is bitter - sweet, sweet apple, pears, candied citrus fruits, toasted grass, straw, some alcohol and soap with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. OK, but far from exciting.
