A copper coloured bitter with a well balanced blend of malt & hops. An initial rich, malty mouth feel is rounded off by orangey / zesty hops and a touch of spice.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2009. Orange copper colour. Green apple. It’s ok, quite a drinkable bitter. Bit acidic, decent condition. Quite fruity.

Cask-conditioned at the Clytha Arms, Gwent. Pale amber with a lacy white head. Malty aroma, with plenty of summer fruits, grassy hops and a touch of toffee. Big malty flavour, the same fruit and caramel before a slight bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle @ thewolf-and-his-flock-of-sheep tasting session. Slight hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma is quite hoppy. Bitter taste. More like a bitter to me than a golden ale, but they are so familiar these english styles.

Cloudy dark golden with a lasting white head. Citrus hoppy aroma. Dry and hoppy flavour. Standard golden ale, and certainly not the worst.

Bottle (bought at "Thirst for beer", Pwllheli): Orangey to amber coloured, hazy, foamy islands on the surface; fruity (bananas), yeasty, suorish nose; sweet-sour flavour, fizzy; sweet fruity and sourish and yeasty finish. Possibly infected ???. Tastes like a combination of a german Weizen and an english Ale ! Poor !
