Not a true Oktoberfest lager as this beer is an ale. But in celebration of fall and our wonderful mountain town, McCall we dubbed it The McCtoberfest. A moderate amount of magnums and nuggets are used early on in the boil. With small editions of Mt. Hoods throughout. Crystal, and Munich malt are big players in this beer. We look forward to its return every fall.

Tap at brewpub. Dark orange with a modest beige head. Mild aroma, in fact not much of an aroma at all. Kind of sweet taste, but nothing difinitive. Toffee, nuts, roast, florals. No lager maltiness in this badboy; it’s an ale.
