(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a clear, orangey brown with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Vinous, sweetish aroma. Very full-bodied and very pleasant with some diacetyl. Not a world class Abt, but a lovely brew nonetheless. 021206

Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a big beige head. Malty, plum, light spicey aroma. Malty, yeasty spice flavor with a bit of banana, date, and plum fruits. Alcohol present. A lot of flavors that don’t quite meld. A bit dusty at end.

Sedimented dark chestnut colour. Fresh, fruity aroma with abundant pear, cherry, plum as well as earthy, brown sugary dark malts. The flavour leads with alcohol and brown sugar sweetness. Even balanced between these, with light fruity notes, a rare abt that isn’t earth shattering.
