Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge tan head - very lively when opened, hints of infection. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, malt, caramel, and lacto acid. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge and notes of caramel, lacto acid, and malt, leading to a tart finish. Clearly infected.

Cloudy deep red amber with a huge beige head. A bit of gusher really. Aroma had sweet malt, yeast, caramel, spices and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet and fruity with orange peel, caramel, toasted malt and spices. Finished sweet. Not bad actually from this brewery and considering it had clear visual signs of infection.

Bottled at PBF. Cloudy ambr, extremely lively head. I recommend to open it in the shower... Faint caramelly appley nose. Sweetish and bland with clean primitive malt. Light medicinal finish without bitterness. Mediocre or worse in every aspect.

Bottled (PBF). Exploding bottle. Dark orange color, small steady off-white head. Apple-fruity-hoppy aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Grainy, some orange peels, metal, yeast... very weak palate. Boring.

Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a medium sized diminishing beige head. Gushed slowly out of the bottle. Quite neutral on the nose, but some caramel and a fruity-sour hint can be found. Quite neutral flavor too, a slight sour touch, caramel-sweetness, fruit syrup, some plums and a touch of alcohol. Medium body, a bit sticky, quite effervescent. Sweet and slightly sour finish. Surprisingly little aroma and flavor, and even though there’s a little sourness, it’s not bad tasting. Seems it might be on a misson to accomplish that though. (080815)

(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Hazy, amber colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, moderately sweet and slightly toasty malt aroma with strong and spicy phenolic notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, rather slim body feel, crispy mouthfeel. Toast-malty, yeasty and fruity taste with a light hops character; yeasty and malty, slightly bitter finish with a tinge of tart sourness (21.05.08).

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly fruity, caramellish nose. Medium-bodied with lightly sweet caramel and fruit - berries? Ends with a discreet bitterness. Not exactly thrilling, but I guess this is the best from Fjorden so far. 110108
