Pours a deep, midnight black with a light tan head. Smells of coffee and dark chocolate and the mouthfeel is velvety smooth with flavors of roasted malts, oatmeal and warm bread. Dragonstooth is a very drinkable stout – satisfying but not heavy.

Bottle from Gooden in Taipei. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, roasted malts, bit of hops. Dark black with foamy tan head. Taste is surprisingly hoppy - could almost be a black IPA. Chinook hops make it taste a bit plasticky/empty, but they're balanced by more piney flavors from the other types. Otherwise quite oatmeal stout-y, just a bit bigger (not that big though compared to other "flagship" stouts from American breweries). Not bad.

Coworker brought in a bottle, split amongst a bunch of us. Poured a very dark brown color, tan head. Aroma was light smoke/roast, with some caramel and malt. Flavor is bitter, roasted malts, some bitter chocolate. Oatmeal in here. Pretty tasty.

Pours a black colored body with a one finger off-white foamy head that dies within a minute, light lacing slides into the body; the smell has a little bit of graham cracker, hazelnut, chocolate, oatmeal and coffee; the taste is sweet yet also displays a decent bitterness coming from the coffee, coffee aftertaste, dry finish; its pretty easy on the palate; overall this is a pretty well done oatmeal stout
