Red-amber-brown beer, nice colour degradations; small off-white head. Great leafy (autumnleaves) and bready nose, slightly sweet but earthy, full. Quite sweet, nearly syrupy taste as "Belgian buns" on Sunday, sweet bakery stuff. Some sweet chocolate and again earthy. Very full bodied, but syrupy. Very sweet, but nevertheless nice Bock. Find it = try it.

Thanks to Per for sending this one!!! Nice deep mahogany color, small, typical Doppelbock head. Good malty aroma with some distinct fruitiness that detracts. The flavor lacks the intensity that it needs. Malty, yet can’t hide all of the alcohol as it should. Some bitterness. Good, but not great.

Beautiful, clean dark amber color. Quick malt and cookies aroma. Quite sweet front flavor, quickly balanced by a strong caramel character bringing in some bitterness as well. Correctly hopped. Quite straightforward and a metallic note.

Ruby/brown-ish colour. Head doesn't last long. Sweet-ish aroma with a touch of liquorice-toffee. Sweet, warming flavour with a hint of vanilla. Drinkable, but I've had better doppelbocks.

Bottled. Ruby coloured with brief head. Roasty and salty. Full bodied with dusty malt flavour. Lightly soapy. Bitterish, clean and very salty finish.
