Black with a small foamy beige head. dry and roasty with coffee and caramel. Long finish. Medium body.

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, coffee and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of roasty coffee, dark chocolate and burnt malt. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
