Fast etwas unscheinbar wirkt der rotgoldene Silberbock mit seinem feinen, weißen Schaum. Das ändert sich, sobald die ersten Aromen die Nase erreichen. Neben Röstaromen verströmt der Bock einen intensiven Duft nach frisch geriebenem süßen Apfel. Dieser fast biblischen Versuchung kommt man gerne nach und nimmt den ersten Schluck. Mächtig entfalten sich Honig und Zitrus sowie alkoholische Noten, die an vollreife Erdbeeren erinnern. Im Abgang macht eine dezente Bittere schnell einem nussigen Nachhall Platz, der noch lange bleibt, bis zum nächsten Schluck.

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack sehr malzig getreidig, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch.

Tap at the 23rd Battersea Beer Festival - 06/02/13, thanks to JF for the pour. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that clears to the edge. Nose carries pale malt, grain, grass, light spice. Taste comprises caramel, sugars, light fruit, grain. Medium bodied with bite, dry finish. Average.

Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bready, fruity and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also. Starts strong and spicy, modest sweet, dry background. Then more and more sourish notes, finish earthy-moldy and unbalanced. Not my favourite.

Pale yellow color, small white head. Cardboardish aroma with herbal hoppyness and vegetables. Medium-bodied. Very sweet maltyness in the background, then herbal hoppyness with hints of cooked vegetables. Not very balanced bock from this below average brewery.

Klebriger und etwas muffiger Antrunk, dunkel herb. Das Bier bleibt auf dieser Ebene, die nicht erfrischend oder deutlich hell aber ebenso wenig würzig und intensiv ist. Wenig fruchtig zum Ende, leicht kräuterartig würzig. Auf Dauer wirkt es monoton, die Süße ist zu stark. Trinkbar. 8/8/8/8/11/8

Bottle (compliments of Koelschtrinker - thanks). Syrupy sweet barley malt aroma with light astringency. Hazy golden yellow color with moderate head. Sweet grainy malt and moderately bitter/astringent weedy hops flavor. Decent but a tad harsh in the finish.

50cl bottle trade with fonefan clear yellow. smooth white head. dry bitter hoppy, sweet malts (a little bit like corn) aroma. flavor : sweet, corn. flowery hoppy.
